Eventinformation & Registration
This year, ruhrSUMMIT will take place purely digitally in the virtual Bochum Jahrhunderthalle. As a special highlight, we will physically set up our Main Stage in the real Jahrhunderthalle (without audience) and stream keynotes, panel discussions & Co. with our top speakers live to your screen!
That means, it is completely up to you from where you participate. Whether from home on the couch, while travelling, in a co-working space... You can network with an international audience from anywhere! Listen to exciting lectures for 2 days and take advantage of the various networking opportunities on our interactive platform.
The special feature: Even after the event you will have access to it 365 days a year. Networking with new potential business partners does not end right after the event, but allows you to exchange information with your new contacts.

On October 28 from 9:00am to 03:45pm
After the registration you can sign up directly for the single Sessions via the event platform. Being quickly will be worth it, because first come, first served!

tickets & payment methods
You can purchase your ticket at https://2020.ruhrsummit.de/en/boarding-pass/. The purchase process is handled by Eventbrite and you will receive the ticket after successful purchase completion via email.
Participant: You are not employed in any start-up, but passionate about the scene and/or interested in the latest trends in the start-up world? Then you have landed in the right place. With the participant ticket you can listen to start-up pitches and expert lectures or chat with new contacts!
Attention: You cannot start video calls or participate in speed matches and table discussions!
Start-up: You have the choice of being a spectator or being an exhibitor and/or pitch participant yourself.

Important: If you are interested in a pitch slot or an EXPO booth, please fill out our online application form. You still have time until 11.10.20!
Company: For representatives of companies we offer company tickets that give you access to all functionalities and areas of ruhrSUMMIT - including our pre-event "Match your Corporate" (link https://2020.ruhrsummit.de/match-your-corporate/ ) on the morning of October 27th.
If your company wants to exhibit at the EXPO, we offer an exhibitor package including 3 company tickets. More information can be found here: https://2020.ruhrsummit.de/en/expo/
Investors: Are you looking for scalable business models in which you want to invest? Then the Investor Ticket is the right choice. It gives you access to all functionalities and areas of ruhrSUMMIT - including our pre-event "Match your Corporate" on the morning of October 27th.
You can easily pay by paypal, credit card or instant bank transfer.
We do not offer combi tickets.
Digital Platform
About 1 week before ruhrSUMMIT starts, you will receive an email with a link to register on the platform.
Even before ruhrSUMMIT you can create your profile on the platform (we strongly recommend that). That way you can be found and attract the attention of other participants. You can also filter for potential business partners and arrange appointments with them in advance.
Some formats such as table discussions or slots in the Expert Lounge require advance registration. First come - first served!
The platform will be accessible 1 week before ruhrSUMMIT starts.
In the Match Making Area you can filter participants, write to them or arrange 1:1 video chats in virtual rooms. At the EXPO you will find exhibitors' booth and can also get in touch via chat or video chat. Furthermore, a digital mailbox offers you the opportunity to leave your own contact information or a contact request.
Present yourself in the best way with your profile by filling in all relevant information about you and your company and showing the other participants who you are and what you offer. Also make clear what you are looking for or what you are interested in. This increases the possibility to be approached by other participants.
Exhibitor

As a company you have the possibility to design your stand in CI colours in addition to your logo presence.
Start-up stands are presented in a uniform design and also present their logo on a large scale.
You have the possibility to staff the booth with up to 3 team members and specify times when you are online. However, we clearly recommend that the booth should always be occupied during the official event times on both days. Even if the digital mailbox collects contacts for you, it would be a pity if a participant wants to exchange information about your company and you are not available.
Start-ups
Yes of course! With our application form you can apply until October 11th for an EXPO booth.
The application period ends on October 11th. After that we will send you an email as soon as possible to let you know if it worked out!
Once you are accepted, you will receive an access code from us via email, with which you can purchase the corresponding ticket (Start-up Expo or Start-up Pitch) via Eventbrite.
Attention: This is not the Start-up visitor ticket visible at Eventbrite!
All Start-up tickets cost 29€ netto per person.
No, we do not offer combination tickets for several people. Each team member needs a separate ticket.
After the event
That's the advantage of a digital event - we don't have to take it down! The platform will remain online for 365 days, so that you can access presentations and linked contacts again.
